April Bugs Bring May Flowers
Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013Novos continues to be our big source of bugs. It’s probably not irony, but meta-bugs do amuse me.
- Fixed some Novos crash bugs thanks to Factitious and Happy Yeti.
- Also corrected the case of the disappearing pointer in Novos. Thanks for the bug report, xKiv.
- Gang warfare messages should report victory or failure regardless of why the battle ended. Good eyes, PenguinPyro.
- Various results of designer vine crafting are now properly usable thanks to Al, GoldS, and Valmo. Thanks!
Also, thanks to Dennis, Mag, Happy Yeti, Factitious, Al, Arkaim, Cryptodynamic, GoldS, and DoctrZombie for some help fixing typos.

Quick Fixes
Monday, July 11th, 2011A few updates and fixes consolidated from the last few weeks.
First, Updates!
- Defenders in gang warfare should now receive a blow-by-blow description of the battle in their notification message. Wooo!
- Icons for all Conducts you’ve followed in Seasonal Reset runs now appear in your Profile.
- Added some shield-related content.
Then, Fixes!
- Corrected an issue where the Gang Warfare messages said you were fighting yourself. Thanks to Liasi, Viscerator, and The Fop for reporting that.
- Fixed an issue with Jab not properly taking Strength into account for damage. Good eyes, Al! Good eyes!
- Eclipse Purist should now be showing up in Profiles properly. Thanks, Mag!
- And resolved an issue where the HKGames Helmet was interfering with sleeping. No fixes yet for the issue of Metroplexity interfering with sleeping. Good catch, The Fop.
Also resolved some typos thanks to DoctrZombie, Dennis, Mag, and Cryptodynamic. Thanks!
For those keeping track (and not reading this from the future, I’m aiming to release the next unearthly item the week of the 15th. So, the 15th to 22nd, sometime in there, hopefully.

Intercontinental Bugfixes
Saturday, May 14th, 2011So, here’s the list of bugs from slightly before I left through now. I should be caught up now, so if there’s anything you sent in that dropped through the cracks, let me know. Also sorry if I missed anyone that reporting a bug, my records are a bit scattered.
- Cleaned up some issues with 05Cleaner and killing sites at the end of the virus event. Thanks to Al, GoldS, Cryptodynamic, Thrillhouse, Dead_Eye, and Francis Vixen for the bug reports.
- Corrected a pair of bugs allowing free access node searches, thanks to Factitious and Cryptodynamic.
- Sorted out a serious bug related to multi-using items. Thanks GoldS!
- Then fixed multi-selling blackmail material, which I broke there. Good catch, Dennis!
- Made the personal comm dish properly craftable thanks to Liasi.
- Also made the Crystallized Octopus Eye craftable under normal circumstances. Thanks for the dark magic, GoldS.
- Removed a few more hanging Docks references. Good eyes, Heriodule.
And a couple changes:
- I might be opening a can of worms here, but the Gang Boss now responds to ties, driving home a bit more of your character’s nature. Thanks to Liasi for this one.
- The Jitters are now a touch more controllable. Thanks to Francis Vixen for the suggestion.
Also fixed up some typos thanks to Cryptodynamic, Al, Francis Vixen, and Mag.

Slags Lab Security
Thursday, February 18th, 2010The Midgard Laboratory in the Slags has had some security updates, centering around their shiny new computer system. Some encounters in the lab have been changed and there are ripples elsewhere.
There’s a lot of cool there I don’t want to spoil, but folks will note that the security on the locker room (such as it was) has changed. So you’re not just imagining things.
Other recent changes include:
- Intercept data now appropriately drops some code. Thanks for the suggestion, bonbon.
- Hawk’s request regarding his errant member in the Slags should now show up in your quest log. Thanks Steaming for getting me on this track.
- Also, we have a ton of typo fixes thanks to Mag, Hotpho, Sir Cheddar, Cristiona, Dennis, Vholes Piper, Factitious, Nyther, and Thrillhouse. Not kidding. There were a lot of typos.
P.S.: There will probably be a bit more Slags-quest related touching up as the Survivors’ Quest looms closer. Nothing huge, mostly just implementing suggestions I’ve let pile up.

Catching Up
Wednesday, January 20th, 2010For those of you who don’t check the forums, I’m been out with the mother of all cold/flu badness for the last week or so. I should be caught up on all the bug reports and messages now. If there’s anything I missed, feel free to re-hassle me.
- Losing processor in net combat shouldn’t confuse Javascript quite as much. Thanks for the testing, JTN2002!
- Contacts should now be highlighted more consistently in the top pane. Thanks for the bug report, Plus4.
- Defending Techniques special abilities should be triggering consistently. Good catch, TeKRunneR.
- Corrected some items from the Survivors’ Quest that were dropping early. Thanks Mag and Jenkins!
- Little Eddie’s training tickets shouldn’t sap energy when you’re beaten up anymore. Thanks for the bug report, Plus4.
- Some chitinous items have new art. Thanks for the suggestion, Vholes, although it’s been a while coming.
- And a heaping helping of typo fixes to top it off from Steaming, Vholes Piper, Stark, Polygon, Al, Dennis, Valera, Wyrd, and Mag.
